Facebook has turned into a world epidemic!

Dhaka is the 2nd among top cities with active Facebook users.

25% of the Facebook users are less than 10 years old.

In 2017 a survey was conducted by Royal Society of Public Health on a thousand teenagers, aging from 11-15. Half of them said Facebook has caused an increase in their mental distress and frustration. 75% of them have admitted that they have been victims of cyber bullying and online harassment.

In the 2013 periodical of Scientific American of National Institute of Health and Science, it was stated that Spending more time on Facebook and social media causes the user to become more depressed, frustrated, detached and lonely. In December 2017, Facebook admitted that social media can harm mental health.

The former president of Facebook, Sean Parker has agreed, “God only knows what it is doing to our children’s brains!”
